Amber Roleplaying

The Amber Roleplaying game is a game that allows players to play characters in the Amber universe created by Roger Zelazny. Players play younger members of the Amber family with similar talents and abilities.  

The game takes place just two years after the end of the first series of books. A number of the Elder Amberites have admitted to children that they have hidden away for safety during the throne war. These children were brought to Amber and educated in the ways of the pattern and given a set of the family Trumps to communicate with. The only exception was a child by the name of Rinaldo who was located from Brand's diaries. It was felt that it was not appropriate to invite a child of the traitorous Brand back into the fold too quickly.

  When the Elders are away ....

The elder Amberites have got things to do, they are busy people. With the Patternfall war newly over and delicate negotiations ongoing between The Courts of Chaos and Amber there is less time for them to plot and mind the house. So they have looked to their family to deal with the day to day duties of looking after Amber and the Circle states.

There's just a minor problem to sort out. A war seems to be brewing between two of the Circle states over a territory dispute. The Elders have briefed their charges over Trump to ensure they know just what's at stake for Amber. The question is do all the Elders have the same interests at heart?
