Basic Logrus Initiation (15 Points)
Basic Logrus Initiation requires at least the Basic
Shapeshifting forms since you cannot invoke the Logrus
without it attempting to shift you in some way. Traversing
the Logrus means going mad at some point and it is likely
that this may have effects on any character who has
traversed the Logrus successfully. As a basic Logrus
Initiate you can reach out the tendrils of the Logrus
into Shadow and chaos for an item you desire and pull
it back to you. In addition you can do this in reverse
to pull yourself to a location - which is how Logrus
masters Shadow walk.
Logrus Defence (10 Points)
Bringing the Logrus to your mind you can use it to
defend you either by getting it to fill your body with
its force (to defend against Pattern, magic of Psyche
attacks), or using the Logrus as a shield against
physical or magical attack in one direction. This however
will not protect against Pattern, Logrus, Trump or Psyche
used in this mode.
Logrus Sight (10 Points)
The Logrus can be used as a Lens at the end of a
tendril to see the aura of Pattern or Logrus or the
distinctive sensation of Trump or magic. If used in
the immediate vicinity of the Logrus user anyne who
is charged with Pattern or Logrus will be immediately
obvious. The Logrus user can discern between things
of Shadow, Amber or the Courts of Chaos. Magic such
as sorcery and charged Power Words can also be detected
with additional careful discernment.
Logrus Combat (10 Points)
The Logrus Initiate can summon the Logrus and force
it into useful shapes that are far more powerful and
flexible than normal Shadow. These extensions can
be used in Combat and have the Strength of the Psyche
of the Logrus user.
Advanced Logrus (0 Points)
Access to the advanced Logrus powers can only be
achieved once all the basic Logrus powers have been
mastered by the member of the Courts of Chaos.
Manipulate Shadow (5 Points)
This allows the user to manipulate Shadow using the
Logrus to manipulate the structure of the Shadow they
are in such that it fits the wishes of the Logrus Master.
In this way the Logrus Master can (and usually does)
maintain their own personal realm of chaos. It takes
about the same time to do this as with pattern and if
not tended the altered Shadow will return to it's normal
form.
Control Chaos Creatures (5 Points)
The Logrus master can now recognise many of the Creatures
of chaos and perhaps more significantly control them.
This is done by learning the weaknesses of the creature
and of ways to bind it. There are an infinite variety
of Chaos creatures in Shadow, and anything should be
able to be found. Once the creature is pointed out it
will take 1 hour per point to find and 10 minutes
per point to bind.
Shape Logrus Servants (5 Points)
Given full concerntration the Logrus master can bring
to life and manipulate the Logrus as a servant. It is
also possible to separate the tendril and give it a
simple instruction to perform some form of duty. The
Logrus servant has human level warfare, chaos level
strength and psyche and a tireless endurance. If attacked
by a person with superior Psyche however the Logrus
Servant will dissolve.
Summon Primal Chaos (10 Points)
The final ability of the Logrus master is to summon
up Primal Chaos. This force is in direct connection
to the untamed chaos at the centre of the Courts. This
will bring about the total destruction to any Shadow
it finds, but it should be quickly dispelled less it
runs amok. True places such as Amber or anywhere nearby
are not consumed by .Primal chaos which will struggle
to be maintained there.
