Basic Pattern Imprint (15 Points)
This is the basic ability to walk the pattern and to travel
through shadow by hellriding, Shadow Walking and the
Royal Way.
Power Over Shadow (10 Points)
This is the ability of an Amberite to be able to influence
the area of Shadow immediately around them to create
small changes. This could be to alter the world to be
able to find money or a sword for instance. It requires
movement and is fairly slow.
Pattern Defence (10 Points)
This is the ability to picture the pattern in your mind to
strengthen your mind and lends strength to your existance.
The Pattern defence requires concerntration, but whilst
invoked can be potent against all other powers. If concerntration
is broken then the the defence will go down. Characters
with weak Psyche may not be able to hold the pattern
long.
Shadows of Desire (5 Points)
Any Amberite can find exactly the Shadow they desire. The
more elaborate the Shadow a character desires the longer
it will take them to find it.
Blood Curse (10 Points)
This is the ability of an Amberite to utter a blood curse
upon their death. It is usually invoked against the
person causing the death and comes from the Amberite's
personal relationship with the pattern. The person inflicted
with the curse gets that much bad stuff to go towards
making the curse happen.
Advanced Pattern Imprint (5 Points)
Advanced Pattern imprint cannot be gained until the
character has all the basic pattern powers. This gives
you access to advanced Hellriding and allow them to
affect the outcome of chance events. They can also alter
the natural laws of a Shadow to allow for things that
are not normally allowed in Shadow.
Pattern Lens (3 Points)
The user can summon the pattern to the mind and can use it
as a great lens to peer into Shadow. Anything can be
observed in this way and you can use this to seach for
anything in Shadow. If you are looking for someone then
you can contact them mind to mind. Whole Shadows can
be viewed very quickly for traces of Pattern or Logrus.
Shadow Pockets (5 Points)
It is possible to create special pockets or rifts in
Shadow. A Shadow pocket is an artificial Shadow created
by a minute warping of pattern. Shaow pockets can be
fixed to a location, may serve as gateways or can be
moved around by its creator. Shadow pockets can be destroyed
by advanced pattern use or Logrus use.
Pattern Recognition (5 Points)
This ability enables the user to detect the Blood of Amber,
it is obvious across a crowded room if it is highly
activated. Less activated blood can be detected by touch
or through a pattern lens. This ability also allows
for the user to tne out your own pattern. This
user must be concerntrating to use this secondary
ability.
Pattern Editing (5 Points)
The user of this ability can put the image of the pattern
in their mind.and manipulate Shadows and the pathways
between them. The user can change things in Shadow or
even erase the Shadow completely, however this can have
a detrimental effect on the overall arrangement of Pattern
and Shadow.
Walk Pattern in Mind (7 Points)
The ultimate ability of Pattern is to be able to
walk the pattern in your mind as though you were physically
there. This means that after a few minutes of walking
the pattern in your mind you will be able to teleport
yourself anywhere in Shadow.
