Natural Shapeshifting (15 Points)
A natural Shapeshifter will have three main forms.
These are a human form, a chaos form (designed for Combat
and also sometimes called a Demon form), and an Avatar
form. The chaos form is usually armoured and is equipt
with natural weapons such as talons or claws. The Avatar
form varies depending on whether the Shapeshifter is
an Amberite or a member of the Courts. Amberites will
using have an Avatar in the form of a natural animal,
whilst Chaosites will be more complex designed to survive
in a hostile environment. Mythical creatures or elementals
are more usual forms for Chaosites.
Shapeshift Wounds (4 Points)
The ability to Shapeshift to repair wounds is very
powerful, but can take time. Cuts can be closed easily,
but knitting bones and regrowing nerves takes more time.
Restoring a lost body part will take weeks and that
body part will be missing in any form until it is regrown.
This ability uses up Endurance but greatly speeds healing
time.
Learn Additional Forms (4 Points)
This is the ability to copy sentient forms (i.e.
not semi sentient animals). It involves making a Psychic
assessment of the target and learning their form which
requires about ten to fifteen minutes of study. This
technicque once gained will allow the Shapeshifter to
transform into the form of anyone they have studied.
Body Parts / Facial Features (4 Points)
This ability allows you to change just specific body
parts (say to be more muscular) or facial features.
The Shapeshifter prefers a complete form, but can change
individual parts provided they maintain concerntration.
Similarly with a mirror and reference the Shapeshifter
can change facial features to act as a disguise. The
Sahpeshifter must maintain complete concerntration on
this and anything breaking this will cause the Shapeshifter
to revert to their normal form.
Animal Forms (3 Points)
This allows the Shapeshifter to learn animal forms
through psychic contact with them. Once gained the Shapeshifter
can "learn" an animal form by making psychic
contact with an example of the animal or bird. You can
Shapeshift into a bird but won't know how to fly until
you have spent a considerable time learning.
Automatic Shapeshift (5 Points)
This is a defensive ability to automatically shift
in response to some type of danger. In essense the Shapeshifter
is letting go and allowing the body to Shapeshift automatically
into a suitable known form. Automatic shapeshifting
is dangerous and can have unforeseen consequences, but
can be used against attacks by Pattern, Logrus, Trump
and magic. A Shapeshifter can tap into their Primal
form whereby the unconsious Shapeshifting function takes
over and can transform the Shapeshifter into any form
necessary for survival. This is very dangerous as the
character is no longer conscious in this state and the
Primal form can have very motivations.
Advanced Shapeshift (0 Points)
The advanced Shapeshifting ability can only be taken
once all the basic Shapeshifting abilities have been
gained.
Shapeshift animal abilities (3 Points)
This ability allows the Shapeshifter to shift their
body to create features of a creature without changing
into it. Thus the Shapeshifter could sprout wings so
that they could fly without becoming a bird or gain
gills without becoming a fish.
Shapeshift Internal Organs (3 Points)
This ability allows the Shapeshifter to move, change,
duplicate or augment their internal organs. Thus the
Shapeshifter could augment their kidney to get alcohol
out of their system quicker. Regenerating lost body
organs takes about a week.
Shapeshift to Creatures of Power (5 Points)
This ability allows the Shapeshifter to shift into
creatures of power such as Dragons and use their powers.
Thus the Shapeshifter would now be able to breathe fire
like a Dragon. Bear in mind the mind of some of these
creatures could be quite alien to the Shapeshifter and
result in a partial loss of identity.
Shapeshift Others (7 Points)
If a Shapeshift makes Psychic contact with this ability
they can impose a shape on the target. If the subject
is resisting then this can only be done after they have
completely dominated the target's will in a Psychic
battle.
Shapeshift Blood (7 Points)
This is the ability of a Shapeshifter to make independent
creatures out of their blood. The creature will have
a measure of the Shapeshifter's power. Corwin's bloodbird
is an example of this as it had some pattern that allowed
it to move through Shadow.
Shift Aura / Persona (5 Points)
An impersonation of a someone is never complete unless
you can shapeshift into their persona. People will ultimately
tell if you behave differently. For a true impersonation
the Shapeshifter must get into the mind of the target.
This is dangerous as the immersion into another's personality
might prove permanent or leave harmful effects on the
Shapeshifters true personality.
